In the 1960's, Horphag's chairman, Charles Haimoff initiated a visionary concept of 'healthy aging'. In his Berlin based laboratories, he developed a unique substance, a water-soluble flavonoid extracted from the bark of the French maritime pine tree, Pycnogenol® French maritime pine bark extract.
Over the past 40 years, Horphag Research has invested millions of dollars in extensive scientific research assuring the safety and efficacy of Pycnogenol® as a premium ingredient.
